While directing for Society, I teamed up with the talented folks at Periscope to create a series of sports instructional videos circa 1980 where a basketball coach tells viewers about the basketball shots James Harden is about to demonstrate in each video: “Lay-up”, “Slam Dunk”, and “Hook Shot.” In each ad Harden pulls out a secret stash of Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers in mid-air, whether from inside the basketball or his ever-growing beard, as seen in the slo-mo recap of each move. Below is my personal favorite, “Lay-up.”
